Holding both a bachelor's and a master's degree from Georgia Southern University, Leonard Bevill balances a busy career as an occupational health executive with a commitment to civic and philanthropic initiatives. Over the years, he has given his time and expertise to numerous civic, nonprofit, and educational institutions in the central Georgia community, including serving on the boards of the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation, Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, Goodwill Industries of Central Georgia, and the Central Georgia Technical College Foundation. Leonard Bevill has also held board positions with health care organizations such as Children’s Hospital Navicent Health.

Professionally, Leonard Bevill has guided Macon Occupational Medicine in Macon, Georgia, for more than 17 years. Under his direction, the company has emerged as the leading occupational health company in Georgia, offering a range of services that includes drug and alcohol screening, regulatory compliance programs, and physical therapy.

Leonard Bevill has received numerous accolades for his civic and professional efforts over the years. Selected as one of Georgia’s “40 Under 40” by Georgia Trend magazine, he was also named by Macon Magazine as one of the area’s “5 Under 40” emerging business leaders. A frequent speaker at industry events, he delivered the commencement speech to the fall graduates at Georgia Southern University in 2012.
